Allotments Open Day - Sunday 7th August
This year we have been accepted on to Scotland's Garden Open Day scheme, which is a great achievement for our allotments.
On Sunday 7th August from 2-5 pm we will be opening our gates to the public.
To make this day a success we need your help, and there's lots of ways you can get involved. We are looking for volunteers to leaflet at Portobello Market on Saturday 6th August.
If you are free on the 7th, please let us know if you can help out. We need people to help set up, collect entrance money, help out on stalls, and to be working plots to chat with visitors. We are also looking for donations of home baking, and produce to sell to raise funds for our allotments.
Please share this date with friends and family and encourage people to come and support us.
It would be great if all the plots and paths are well-tended and tidy so we can show the site at its best.
